STEP 1:

The e-learning program can be completed at home at your leisure and will cover all of the necessary skills and knowledge for open water scuba diving.

 Prerequisites:

  • Age 10-14 = Junior Open Water certification Minimum age 18 or 15 with parental consent
  • Float for 10min
  • Complete a 200 meter non-stop swim using any stroke

Students must own their own personal equipment (Mask, Snorkel, Fin and Boots), New England Dive has a full stock of many different personal items to ensure proper fit. Students also are eligible for discounts on most items in store while enrolled in classes. Steps 1 -2- 3 need to be completed within a 1 year timeline. This timeline begins the day of registering for the e-learning program.

PADI OWSD (Step 2) Confined Water Training CW

STEP 2:

Sign up for Confined Water (CW) Training

This portion of the course consists of 1 classroom session and approximately 8 hours of pool training. When arriving to your Confined Water session. During the first class you will also be issued the included life support rental equipment used during your pool sessions.

PADI OWSD (Step 3) Open Water OW

STEP 3:

Complete the Open Water (OW) Training

$299

Open Water (OW) dive training consists of a minimum of 4 dives, completed over a span of at least 2 days. This is a standard requirement for dive certification. New England Dive offers OW weekends during our dive season (May- October). Step 3 cost incudes instruction, rental of life support equipment, thermal protection, and the cost of registration with your training agency. Upon passing, you will have earned an Open Water Scuba Diver certification, you can dive anywhere in the world, for the rest of your life to a max depth of 60 ft (18 M). It will also enable you to continue your diving adventure.
