I finally gave in and decided to give Nitrox a try. NE dive shop made it easy as could be. I’m not a fan of the new “E” learning but the instructor was top notch. He took the time to break it all down quite clearly. I would definitely do another course through NE Dive shop.
I recently did the online training for Nitrox. It’s a decent program with easy to follow tutorials. However I’m not a fan of using all this remote learning. I believe that in person instruction is the best way to learn and teach. Often times you have questions about the subject that you can’t get answered by online learning.
Many instructors have years experience and often will be able to highlight certain aspects of the training that will reinforce the learning experience.
I’m glad I took the course, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while and will definitely benefit my diving experience and skills.
